This page explains what Inburgering Exam keeps when you prepare for the Dutch inburgering exams, why we keep it, and who can see it. Last updated 4 October 2026.
Your account
When you create an account we keep the email address and password you choose, and the dates you signed up and last signed in. You can see the email and those dates on your profile.
Practice and results
When you use practice tests for the inburgering exams, games, words, or the writing and speaking check, we keep your answers, scores, and how you perform on each subject and word over time—including areas where you improve and areas where you still struggle. We use that to run your practice, show analysis on your profile, and support your inburgering exam preparation.
Subscription
If you buy a subscription we keep that you have a paid plan, when that plan starts and ends, and that the payment succeeded. The price and what the plan includes are shown before you pay.
Cookies
A cookie in your browser keeps you signed in. It is removed when you log out. We do not use advertising cookies.
Sharing
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with others so they can contact you or advertise to you.
We do not ask for or keep your name or phone number. We only keep your email address so we can contact you about your account, problems, and payments.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and practice results while the account is open. You can ask us to delete it. We then remove the account and the practice data. A payment record can stay for our bookkeeping, for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see your data or have it deleted. You can also lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Write to hello@inburgeringexam.nl and we will handle the request.
